TTC Group Acquires German Company RADIODATA and Strengthens Its Position on the German Market

The Czech technology and real estate group TTC has completed the acquisition of the German company RADIODATA GmbH, obtaining an 80% stake in the company and becoming its majority owner. The remaining 20% has been retained by the family of the company’s founder, Hans-Joachim Langermann. The TTC Group expects this acquisition to significantly strengthen its position in the strategic German market and open new opportunities for further international expansion.

RADIODATA GmbH is a German company founded in 1981 that develops and manufactures professional radio systems for voice and data communication and is one of the leading German suppliers in this field. Its main clients include energy and water utility companies, public transport enterprises, and industrial firms, including those in the mining, oil, and gas sectors. It also focuses on specific sectors such as airports, ports of entry, court buildings, prisons, and healthcare facilities, with one of its notable customers Deutsche Bahn, Germany’s national railway operator. For the energy company Schleswig-Holstein Netz, RADIODATA built the largest DMR Tier III system in Germany with 50 base stations. At the time of its creation, it was the first DMR Tier III system in the world.

The TTC Group and RADIODATA have long cooperated in supplying radio systems for railway transport, energy, and other critical communication sectors. One of their current joint projects is the installation of the DIPRA DMR Tier III digital radio system for the Temelín nuclear power plant.

“We have been collaborating with RADIODATA for many years. Through this acquisition, we aim to significantly deepen not only our commercial but also our product collaboration, particularly in the area of critical communication and integration with 5G network services. At the same time, we would like to strengthen our position in Germany and enable a more substantial entry into this market,” said Josef Šelepa, Chairman of the Board of TTC HOLDING.

Last year, the TTC Group established TTC GERMANY, a company representing all Group entities in the German market and acting as a commercial representative for the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

In addition to TTC HOLDING, the new owners of RADIODATA include the founder’s sons, Malte and Norbert Langermann (each holding a 10% stake). Malte Langermann has also been appointed the company’s director.
