GreenHack 2024 Announces Its Winners

At the end of May, the European sustainability hackathon GreenHack 2024 took place in Prague, with TTC Group and Mycroft Mind as partners.

This event brought together over 90 innovators to solve current sustainability challenges through technology and a creative approach via a 24hr marathon.

We are pleased to see such a great interest of the participants of teams, who took on the challenge prepared by Mycroft Mind focusing on creating a dynamic model that illustrates the behaviour of an energy consumption point over the course of time.

Our special congratulations go to the Wiseaus team, who took an overall 3rd place with their solution to this particular challenge and also received the special Mycroft Mind award. The team presented a dynamic 3D model in the shape of a tree, that captures the flow of energy in a household. Their contribution used time row parameters with detailed information such as energy consumption and production, accumulation, flexibility, electricity spot price, as well as the forecast of outside temperatures and sunlight. It turned these various parameters into a work of art. Congratulations go namely to Jan Pecka, Josef Matějka and Kajetán Poliak for their efforts and inspiring work.

We would like to extend our thank to the organizers and especially to Tomáš Studeník for supervising such a great event. And special thanks to our mentors Filip Procházka and Tomáš Bort and all the other partners, who contributed to the success of this event.

We are looking forward to the next edition of GreenHack 2025!
