Smart Energy: Mycroft Mind as a Leader of Innovation in Energetics

Brno-based technology company Mycroft Mind, which has been a member of the TTC Group since 2023, is one of the leaders in the design and development of smart grid solutions. The success of this company was recently reported by the EURO weekly in its article “Smart Energy”.

Mycroft Mind specialises in the development of advanced analytical tools for data collection, processing and prediction in smart energy networks. Among other things, these technologies enable the effective management of energy consumption and contribute to the stability of distribution networks in an era of increasing decentralization and transition to renewable energy sources.

The long-term cooperation with the energy giant ČEZ demonstrates the importance and quality of the offered solutions. As mentioned in the article, the ability to combine innovative technologies with practical applications that respond to real customers’ needs plays a key role in this success.

“In order to customize the current distribution network to meet future needs, it is necessary to introduce smart meters, as well as find new ways of managing consumption in order to make the energy network flexible and secure,” says Matěj Vichr, CEO of Mycroft Mind.

Mycroft Mind is also one of the few Czech companies, who are involved in the prestigious European IPCEI programme. This program brings together more than 50 major European companies, who together form the future of the energy sector.

With the support of the TTC Group and within the framework of IPCEI, Mycroft Mind participates in projects contributing to the improvement of sustainability and efficiency of energy systems at the European level.
